ASEE Midwest Section Conference 2024 - Next Generation Engineers: Transforming Engineering Education

 

The University of Kansas School of Engineering is honored to host the 2024 ASEE Midwest Section Conference. The 2024 conference will focus on engineering education from K-12 to graduate and continuing education. 

  • On Sunday, workshops will focus on K-12 engineering education, the transition to college, and freshman/sophomore retention.
  • Keynote speakers will address transforming evaluation of teaching and hands-on learning.
  • Outstanding paper awards will be awarded for full papers on engineering education.
  • Student capstone/technical project poster competition.

Location: University of Kansas Burge Union - 1565 Irving Hill Rd. Lawrence, KS 66045
Accommodations: A block of rooms at hotels within walking distance of the university are available for conference participants.

Author Notification: 8/15

Final Paper Deadline: 8/31

Policies

We encourage you to send a substitute if you cannot attend. A full refund of registration fees, less a $50 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing and received at-least 7 days prior to the event. No refunds will be made after that date. A $30 fee also will be charged for returned checks. (Please note that if you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.) The ASEE Conference will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
