Beth Peterson

Beth is a current second year student in the Master of Urban Planning program at the University of Kansas. Within her master’s program, she has a specialization in transportation planning and currently serves as president for the student group—Kansas Association of Planning Students (KAPS). Beth graduated from KU in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and a Minor in Sociology with University honors and distinction. As a GRA for the University of Kansas Transportation Center, she will provide support for the Kansas RTAP program, Cool Science, KDOT Safety Corridor Evaluation, and other projects.
