Southwest Geotechnical Engineering Conference
The SWGEC Returns in 2024!
The Southwest Geotechnical Engineering Conference is in its 47th session, and for the first time since 2019 is returning as an in-person event you won’t want to miss. The conference is targeted toward geotechnical practitioners in State Departments of Transportation and those involved in geotechnical fields related to the transportation industry. The conference will bring together designers, practitioners, vendors, researchers, and students to share and discuss advances and opportunities in Geotechnical, Geological, Geophysical, and Geoenvironmental Engineering specific to the Southwestern US.

Policies
We encourage you to send a substitute if you cannot attend. A full refund of registration fees, less a $50 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing and received at-least 7 days prior to the event. No refunds will be made after that date. A $30 fee also will be charged for returned checks. (Please note that if you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.) The Southwest Geotechnical Engineering Conference will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
