Parking Information

Parking is free for all MIDTRANS 2026 attendees and will be available in the KU Memorial Union Parking Garage.

After you register for the conference, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to register your vehicle for complimentary parking. 

If you require accessible parking accommodations, please contact Donna Doel at donnadoel@ku.edu prior to the conference so arrangements can be made.

 

Flying In?

From Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to the Kansas Memorial Union, the drive is approximately 50 miles and typically takes about 50–60 minutes, depending on traffic.

Driving Directions
  1. Exit the airport and follow signs for I-29 South / I-435 South toward Topeka.
  2. Continue on I-435 South for approximately 19 miles.
  3. Merge onto I-70 West toward Topeka/Lawrence.
  4. Continue west on I-70 for about 25 miles.
  5. Take the US-59 / Iowa Street exit toward Lawrence.
  6. Follow signs toward the University of Kansas campus.
  7. Turn onto Jayhawk Boulevard.
  8. The Kansas Memorial Union will be located on campus at 1301 Jayhawk Blvd.

The route is primarily interstate driving and is generally straightforward for first-time visitors.
