Call for Presentation Abstracts
CALL FOR PRESENTATION ABSTRACTS
The 2026 Midwest Innovation and Development in Transportation Symposium (MIDTRANS) will take place on September 2, 2026. The organizing committee is seeking presentations on a wide range of transportation-related topics, including innovative solutions to current challenges, emerging technologies, case studies, and lessons learned from across the Midwest and beyond.
Specific topics of interest could include, but are not limited to:
- Safety
- Transit Systems and Public Transportation
- Smart Mobility and Operations
- Freight and Rural Transportation
- Multimodal and Complete Streets
- Sustainability and Energy
- Weather, Climate, and Resilience
- Transportation Infrastructure and Construction
Presentations will be 20 to 30 minutes in length; no papers are required. Please submit abstracts by completing the form at the link below.
Abstract Deadline: June 1, 2026
Notification of Acceptance: June 15, 2026
PowerPoint Presentations Due: August 21, 2026
